Let's Get Down to Business.
Some knowledge in design and skills in Photoshop will be more than handy for any young entrepreneur.
In this project, you will use Photoshop to create an original logo and
print advertisement for a business of your choice. The business can either be your own or one that already exists.
For the logo design, think shape, colour, and font along with layout to help maximize its effectiveness.
For your ad, looking at examples and paying attention to how all the separate elements (colour, image, text) and the layout of them, are communicating the ad's message.

Tip #1 - Be CreativeDecide whether you are going to design something original or recreate an existing company's logo.
|
Tip #2 - Divide and Conquer?Seperate this project into 2 parts: logo design and ad design. Focus on your logo first, complete it, and then come back to polish it, after you've completed your ad.
|
Tip #3 - Get InspiredGo online to search logo examples that provide you a sense of layout, colour use, and font choices.
For your ad, do the same by finding student examples on this site or Google images for professional examples. |
Tip #4 - Get FeedbackMake sure you have someone else look over your work. Sometimes they can catch the little things you missed.
